I teased this about a year ago and the day has finally come! The DAILY GRIND hardcovers are here!
In 2014 I self published Daily Grind Vol 1, a 100 page softcover collection of my early Daily Sketches. It sold out fast and I always intended on moving forward with a Vol 2, 3 and so on. Back then, it was just Casey and I running my online store out of our house. Between raising our oldest son Baxter, me working on comics non stop, and Casey working on Photography, we hit our max bandwidth level when our youngest Milo came along in 2015. So, DG1 went out of print and all future volumes got put on hold while we shuttered the online store for a few years.
Jump forward to 2021, a few years into having my company Stupid Fresh Mess up and running, Megan remembered that I had wanted to revisit those books and helped spearhead the resurrection! She enlisted our awesome editor Joel and the two of them had these new editions on the schedule!
I’m so proud of how these turned out! They’re 8.5x11, 100 Black & White page Hardcovers made to look and feel like a real sketchbook. Vol 1 is a hardcover reprint of the old soft cover and Vol 2 is an all new collection of my Daily Sketches!
You can order the regular versions, or grab the STUPID FRESH MESSY EDTION. A special custom set of Vol 1 & 2 that are all hand splattered with white paint in our studio by me while having Mimosas with the crew!
They look so cool that I was tempted to just do ALL the books this way. haha. Fortunately, Megan made me get back to work on the 143 things I have on my schedule! Can't believe it's already been a year since you first mentioned brining the book back and adding another! It was absolutely worth the wait as these look fantastic! Especially the Stupid Fresh Messy editions!

And the sketch stickers are such a fantastic idea! Could be a fun idea to have a blank Sketchbook to place the stickers in!
