Around the studio, I’m considered the “numbers” person. I crunch the inventory, chop up and analyze the cost of conventions, try to figure out where we can save costs on shipping, supplies and overhead. I’m also known to be a tad competitive (note how Skottie characterized me in my family portrait he did below) in the most fun way of course ;)
When I started working with Skottie his newsletter hadn’t been active for awhile but he had a list of a few hundred people signed up. One of my personal missions was to grow that. Our newsletter is the most personal way we can talk directly to you guys. It’s so cool that Skottie can share the inner workings of his beautiful mind here with you all without the hassle of trying to beat social media algorithms.

Dang. You all are way too awesome. Don't get me wrong, don't STOP being awesome. It just feels so great to see you all showing up and supporting Stupid Fresh Mess. It makes me so happy to see you all not just showing love to me a my art, but the whole crew. Megan loves her job and all of you and It's so great to see you all give that same energy back to her. And John...well, there's no one like John. I've never met someone so consistent, dedicated and CHILL AF as our John Young. The fact that you see both of them and their hardworking makes me very proud. Thank you all!
