Hey out there it’s Megan, John and Skottie coming to you today. We wanted to drop a quick newsletter to let you know that we launched 5 eBay auctions with 100% of the proceeds going to Hurricane Helene and now Hurricane Milton relief efforts. We have friends, family, co-workers and customers personally and deeply affected by these absolutely devastating storms- I imagine we all do. It will be some time before we even understand the toll it has taken on these communities. One thing is certain, it’s not a weekend rebuild.
Last week in the studio we talked about some of the things we might do to help. We decided one of them would be an auction and got to work. There are many worthy charities to pick from. We’ve decided our donation will be split between United Way of North Carolina and World Central Kitchen. Stupid Fresh Mess will match the total donation of all five auctions up to $5,000.

The first item is the now out of print and hard to find THE MARVEL ART OF SKOTTIE YOUNG WITH AN ORIGINAL DEADPOOL SKETCH!
Item number 2 is our TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTES #1 WITH FULL COLOR RAPHAEL REMARK. It comes signed with a certificate of authenticity.
We also have a PERFECT 10 up for auction! We were so stoked to see this guy coming back from CGC. What a gem this will be for any collection.
Our last TMNT item up for bid is a 1:500 Sean Murphy ratio variant! This is a rare book with a CGC 9.8.
And finally… we held onto a few of our Stray Dogs: Dog Days #1 covers for a rainy day. This is probably the most sought after of our exclusives- with a small 500 print run they are super hard to come by! More photos on request!

Thanks to the team for doing this. We're in Clearwater right in path and buckling up all our items and store as well (Amanda C. and Jimmy P. comic/art items and collections) so we're going to do something similar once we get on the backend of this storm post NYCC.
