Gert is back this October in I HATE FAIRYLAND #16, which kicks off a brand new epic story arc with HAPPY END GAME, Part 1 of 5! Me, Brett, Jean and Nate are back at it again!
Gert saved Fairyland from a monster infestation and is being celebrated by one and all. Okay, well…maybe not all. Deep below the Inferno, in the bowels of Hell, an old rival is gathering an army of the dead to put an end to Gert. No one in Fairyland will be safe.
A new arc of the hit blood-filled fairytale series starts here!
This story is BIG and it’s bringing in some new characters. Well, they’re actually old characters. You might even call them classic, but they’re new to I Hate Fairyland. There will be old foes and new allies and it’s going to be deadly!
As a bonus to the Regular and Explicit covers A and B we always do, I’ve added a few more to launch this arc. I realized I had never done one of my baby covers for IHF and figured it was time to remedy that. What better way to present a baby than to tip my hat at one of the most famous baby presentations of all time. You know, it’s the circle of life and stuff.
And we’re bringing back the blank sketch covers! This time it’s green!

I think it’s super interesting to see how he works through this and then how Jorge executes it. No doubt it takes a team so close that they can literally finish each other's sentences to pull it off!
