As part of their 30th Anniversary celebration, next month Image Comics will launch the Image Firsts program with new editions of hand-selected number 1 issues of some of the coolest and best comics they publish!
They’ve nicely (and rightfully) chosen Skottie’s I Hate Fairyland and Skottie & Jorge Corona’s Middlewest for the list!
Once you get your hands on these nice clean new editions of both comics, you’ll also get a peek at the first official announcement of the NEW I HATE FAIRYLAND!
Yes, that’s right. It’s finally official. You don’t get much more official than an AD, right? …and this AD in particular features dynamic and disturbing new artwork from Brett Bean and layout and text design from stellar designer Deanna Phelps.
We don’t think you’ll need three guesses to figure out where the inspiration came for this one. But you can have them.
