Lobo Is Looming!

Lobo #1 Final Order Cutoff is here

Hey you bunch of Stupid Fresh Mess mother fraggers! The time has come to make sure you’ve told your local comics shop to pre-order LOBO #1 so you don’t miss out on The Main Man’s first ongoing #1 issue in 10 years! Written by me, illustrated by Jorge Corona, colored by Jean-Francois Beaulieu, and lettered by Nate Piekos!

And I can’t leave out our editorial team that has really stepped up and supported us so amazingly in every way. Kathleen Wisneski (who’s last name makes me have to go to my email every time I write it to make sure it’s spelled right.), James Reid (who’s last name is actually spelled wrong. Come on James. Just embrace double E’s.), and Paul Kaminski (who’s last name I also have to double check because I’m the worlds worst speller, each of these editors can confirm.) All jokes aside, from the day this team of editors reached out and offered me the job, they have created such a fun and encouraging space to make the best possible comics we can. It’s been a real pleasure for my first trip around the sun with DC.

This coming Monday is the Final Order Cutoff for shops and it helps them to know that you want a copy reserved! If you want an off the wall, violently fun read with some of the best Lobo art since Biz himself put his pen to paper on Lobo, then you need to tell your retailer to get you a copy or two! Here’s a look a few reasons why.

As teenager that hit the comic shop every Wednesday, I always looked forward to Comic Shop News. You gotta remember, we didn’t have the internet back then so Wizard Magazine and CSN is where we got all our info! So it was pretty cool to see Jorge’s cover for our first issue HUGE on the front page of it this week.

For all of you variant cover lovers and collectors, DC has lined up some absolute bangers for you. Some will be available at your local comic shop and others are Retailer Exclusives from various places. Check ‘em out!

Speaking of covers. We showed you my Exclusive, but didn’t tell you you’d be getting 2 options! On March 4 we’ll be opening up pre-orders on the Skottieyoung.com Exclusive for the full color/trade dress version and the black & white virgin edition. As always I’ll let Megan send out the official newsletter with all the details because you guys know that’s way above my pay grade and far outside my lane! But I will give you the offical look at them both and you can check out the YouTube video of me inking it.
