Our Hometown Con.
Hey ladies and gents, Megan here. Actually, we won’t be going to Kansas City. We already live here! And like the song says, we do have some crazy lil’ women here. Everyone is crazy, in the best way. That’s why we call it home and we can’t wait for those of you joining us at Planet to visit and hopefully have some time to explore. It’s such a cool place with an easy going vibe. The downtown scene has likely changed since you were last here.
A few quick recommendations of some of our favorites downtown.
The food scene here has really blown up. For the foodies, check out Corvino Supper Club, The Town Co., and Farina. For a crazy good burger, check out Town Topic and BRGR.
You can hop on our free streetcar from the River Market (food, drinks, art) all the way through downtown to Union Station- which you really shouldn’t miss.
Downtown you can find the beautiful WWI Memorial and lawn, Power and Light District with live music and restaurants/bars, Nelson Atkins Museum of Art is world class and we have a huge number of graffiti style murals all over with several companies offering tours.
Table Details.
Ok, enough of the Kansas City sales pitch. Here are the details for our booth at Planet ComicCon! You’ll find us in Artist Alley at table 3707, our usual spot. So many awesome creators will be there including TWIG co-creator, Kyle Strahm, right next to us. Many of you know Drew Browne who has helped Skottie at his table for years. He’ll be there with me slinging the wares.
We’ll have our prints, Skottie’s creator owned books and some of our exclusive store covers, including Amazing Spider-Man fresh off the press!
Everyone coming through the line will be able to get 5 signatures for free. It’s $5 per signature after that and Witnessed/Graded signatures are $20 per signature. Skottie will not have a sketch option available this time.

Some of the best names in comics talk about telling stories with legacy characters like Doctor Strange, Spider-Woman, and Deadpool, then elevating their craft and creating brand new worlds in comics. Join Skottie Young (Strange Academy, I Hate Fairyland), Jason Aaron (Avengers, Sea Of Stars), and Dennis Hallum (Spider-Woman, Sea of Stars) for a look at the world of comics beyond capes.
2-4pm Table 3707
Enjoy the con life to those that are going. Wish I lived closer to there, I live CT, just to meet more creators that I haven't had a chance to meet yet. Plus checking out all the art prints that I know I shouldn't buy (but I'll still buy a few) is always great.
See u there bud besides this show u coming to nycc or any East cost this year keep up the great work
