LOOKING BACK TO MOVE FORWARD

I finally got the rest of my books up to my new (over a year in here now) studio and along with them came around 20 spiral bound sketchbooks. I started flipping through them a few days and out of nowhere, I had a realization…

…something has been missing from my art for awhile.

The 1000’s of drawings, scribbles, doodles, and experiments were telling me I had left something behind when I started doing designs and prelim drawings all digital.

Want to read more about my recent discovery, how I used to HATE sketchbooks and why I’m going to be returning to them? Upgrade to become a Paid Subscriber and I’ll tell you all about it. You’ll get to see photos of actual pages with no editing or adjustments. These are pages of me exploring and working things out, not just doing fully finished pieces. Nothing but raw searching.
