Six years ago, my good friend David Petersen reached out and invited me to be a part of his wonderful world of MOUSE GUARD. He had his regular Mouse Guard series of graphic novels and his anthology companion, MOUSE GUARD: LEGENDS OF THE GUARD. These were collections of short stories written and illustrated by various creators with a framing story by David. David asked me to do a story for Vol. 3 and I said yes right away.
