Hey everyone, Megan here with the news of our next UnORIGINAL ART print drop. But first, Skottie already sent out his mushy Heroes Convention wrap up so I won't be long… BUT, whoa what a show. What a turnout. What freaking JOY. My top convention highs not in any particular order:
Skottie’s panel on Sunday and handing out the print of Skelly! I’ve heard some of Skottie’s stories a few times of course but he never tells them in exactly the same way. The audience had some genuinely GREAT questions that led to a really fun panel.
Hanging with the Skottie Appreciation Facebook group several times over the weekend but mostly I love the conversation with you all while watching Skottie paint on the Live Art Stage. It’s so fun to reunite here every year and see all your familiar faces and to catch up on who has a new baby or a new dog, who is moving, hear about all your convention hauls and general life stuff. It’s about the only time I get to sit down over 4 days and I try to really take it in.
Feeling the absolute BUZZ of the room when Skottie’s auction piece comes up is such a crazy thrill. We are always nervous too and not gonna lie, when Skottie told me he wanted to add Pac-Man into his Galactus piece I don't think my face lied… I wasn’t so sure. Obviously I was wrong. Like REALLY, really wrong haha.
Winning the Jared Cullum’s painting “Clark’s Last Chores Of The Day” from the auction! This is our 2nd piece from Jared and I can’t wait to have it framed up (shout out to Framebridge). Go check out his website to pick up some incredible sketches or take a workshop from him!

Everyone was considerate and excited for one another- even if they had snatched the piece you wanted ahaha. It was a record breaking number of pieces sold since I’ve been doing conventions with Skottie. Take care of them.

Couldn't agree more with your highlights Megan as I they were some of mine as well! Along with all the other great artists I met and got pieces from whether new or a familiar face. I love getting to catchup with the people from the previous year. And I look forward to doing the same next year as well! Except maybe Seth who did indeed snatch the piece I wanted.....jk 🤣 lol.
Very nice pickup with the Cullum piece from the auction again! Definitely top of my list to get a commission from next year!
