TWIG #1 Orders Pass 150k

The Adventure begins with some BIG numbers!

Kyle and I are BLOWN AWAY by the support the readers and retailers have shown for TWIG so far. When we set out to make a comic about a furry blue critter going on an epic fantasy quest, we figured it was going to be me, Kyle and few others showing up for our love letter to the 80’s books and movies we grew up with. We had no idea how wrong we would be.

A few days ago, Eric at Image Comics emailed telling us congrats on the numbers. I was like “Thanks! Can you tell me what those numbers are?” hahaha. He thought sales had already told us. When he told us it was 150,000 we were both picking our jaws up off the floor. I called Kyle and we both just laughed in disbelief. We fucked around and made a nerdy adventure comic for US and ended up selling more copies than any of our indie launches ever!!!

To all you readers that let your retailers know you wanted a copy, all the retailers that ordered heavy and the retailers that supported us with an exclusive cover… we send the biggest of thank you’s for supporting this book, and indie comics in general!
