A funny thing is that paper has so much to do with how each pen behaves. The artist ultimately is the tool (yeah, I know), but the paper/material they work with is important and how that material absorbs, rejects, dries, etc. But, I’m rarely asked about the paper—always the pen.
Love the shoutout to another of my favorite artists Joe Mad! And c'mon...we all totally know you have a human bone filed down to a point with a squirrel hair rubber-banded to the end pen. How else would you draw such amazing art time and time again?! Always love watching your videos where you present your ideas and thoughts when it comes to art!
