LA COMIC CON AND GIVEAWAY TIME!

Hey crew, Megan here. LA Comic Con is upon us! The Stupid Fresh Mess booth is packed and ready to go! That’s an absolute lie. It is not. Not even close. We have A LOT to do but we’ve been crazy fun busy around here with exclusive cover drops and other secret stuff yet to be revealed. LA Comic Con was the very FIRST convention I did with Skottie back in 2019 when I was just a little baby dear getting my convention legs about me. So this is a really special one for us and we are SO EXCITED to be back!

Here are the details for Skottie’s table so you can get your game plan mapped out. You’ll find us in Artist Alley at Tables C59 and C61. See the red circle on the far left, upper corner of the map.

We’ll be there all 3 days- taking a break midway through the day on Saturday and Sunday. (Hours are approximate and may change.)

Friday Dec 1. 4-6pm

Saturday Dec 2. 10am-Noon and 2-430pm

Sunday Dec 3. 10am-Noon and 2-4pm

We’ll have Skottie’s creator owned books, some of our exclusive covers, and Daily Grind 1 and 2 and prints. Skottie is not sketching or taking commissions but we will have some original art available at the table.

• Signatures will be $10 each. Anything you buy at the table from us comes with a signature!

• Graded signatures are $30 each

I will have a few reserved signing spots available at our table for vendors, retailers or groups with MORE than 100 books. Please contact me at meganhodges@skottieyoung.com to reserve a spot by Tuesday, November 28.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

We’ve had a lot of EXCLUSIVE covers drop lately and FULL or nearly full sell-outs. Which is AWESOME! And which also means that our shipping times are running longer than usual… but not longer than what we promise. Every exclusive listing says “please allow 4-5 weeks from publication date for processing and shipping”.

We aren’t shipping at Amazon speed around here that’s for sure. When books arrive the first thing we do is inspect each one. Then we need to set up a signing time with Skottie (and this guys schedule lately is T-I-G-H-T!) and individually bag and board every book.

It’s John, myself and our newest studio hand, Kaleigh. Occasionally you’ll even find Skottie out here bagging and boarding (but we have to double check everything he does anyway).

With the volume of orders we have, combined with some time off with our families during holidays and travel for LA Comic Con, it looks like it will take us a full 5 weeks from publication date to get all orders out. We ship them in the order received and while we aren’t able to give you an estimate of exact ship date, you will always get a shipping confirmation and tracking number by email. If you have an account at skottieyoung.com you can always sign in to see if your order says PENDING or SHIPPED as well.
