Love this comic! One of the things that makes it work so well is Aaron Conley’s kinetic art which gives you so much to look at and which brings the story to life in entertaining and occasionally unexpected ways. It’s fascinating to look at those pages after seeing your early inks.

So interesting too how you can have the idea and not yet have as complete a story as you would like. Very glad you reached the point you had a story you wanted to tell and that you had, barring yourself, the perfect artist to partner with. Thanks for giving us a glimpse into the process.

I have not yet seen the published story but based on this all-too-familiar account of my childhood, I will definitely look for a copy. Nicely (?) done and congratulations to everyone involved!

Very cool. I haven't had the pleasure or checking out this one just yet. Maybe the "demo" will turn me onto it. Thank you.

Bully Wars may be the first full comic series my son read (outside of Sonic and Spongebob). A great series for kids of all ages (yes that means adults).

Am I at Epic Universe?? Yes! Am I still gonna take time out to read a Skottie Young Substack? Fluff yeah I am!

Such a great read! Absolutely love Bully Wars and fun fact it was my first slab comic I purchased at Coliseum of Comics with their exclusive cover signed by you and Aaron! And then again super fun to meet Aaron at Coliseum and get him to sign my TPB.

It's always fun to see the BTS of stuff like how long ago you had the idea and how it evolved with the help of Aaron. I personally love working backwards from a name like you did for it! It's how I came up with my senior thesis environMENTAL!

I recently even saw the original poster for the signing for you and Aaron back at its original release I need to share on Instagram!

I love when you can totally capture the essence of a story without the dialogue! Even in demo stages it’s all there!

Really hope we get more Bully Wars someday. Aaron was the perfect pick to collaborate on that project. You two compliment each other so well.
