Now I'm wishing that the next arc will be called the returning. Love the callouts to previous works hidden in there. As a parent, I love how the boys are like looney tunes characters and create a portal looking like something out of evil dead. Very much amused at how spilling wine on the keyboard seems to destroy the whole computer and let Gert run off to wherever it takes her. I'd love to see Gert make a few pit stops at some other places to see how'd things go.
Each part is topping the one before it! I love all of the little details in the art, like Dorothy and Tank Girl images on the wall. Brett's art is just perfect for this crazy fun story. The sound effect lettering for the boys fighting and the portal is awesome too. Can't wait to see what awaits Gert when she gets back to Fairyland!
Hahahaha what a wild ride this is! Loving all the self humor as well! Not gonna lie, when she enter and the portal opened I totally thought Skottie and the kids were also gonna get sucked up into Fairyland! Can't wait to see how it ends! Or maybe how it continues!
