Like y'all, when X decided to leave the room I figured he was getting another autographed piece from their collection or the like. But when he walks back in and starts talking to her, ya just knew! Loved the look on y'alls faces as it was the same as mine haha. Congrats you Christina and X again!
I still have to finish watching the rest of the night with Jim Mahfood. Back in 2004 (?) I set up a twitter account for a brief moment and saw they were having a contest for an original piece of Jim's website banner (40 oz comics) art (It's like a photo copy(?) but on glossy paper and is signed by Jim). We had to promote an artist website that people might not know on twitter. I put up my buddy's peedoodles Facebook page (remember FB. Still there but here's IG https://www.instagram.com/peadoodles/) and somehow I won. I wish we could post photos here and I would share it. I'm stoke to have something original from Jim in my collection. Jim's art is amazing. It's really fun to see the friendship between Jim and you, and all the cartoonists / artists who show up for your livestream. (and of course, the wedding proposal is priceless. You can't create that because it's just solid love in action. BAM! There it is! Such a great moment. And only witnessed it because you set up this livestream and Christina and X are fans who made this their date night. That's impossible! Yet, true.)
Last night was another fun time. Nice chill format, fun and interesting stories, timely romantic stories (that Wicked one I may have to steal), and a few unexpected twists. Once again, congratulations to Christina and X and thanks to both Skottie and Megan for the whole experience.
Also, extra thanks to Megan for putting up that sale as I snagged a signed Grrl scouts for my collection. And I hope that the wall will keep growing with more of the sites exclusive art pieces.
I was just watching this as I was preparing for the work day. I had to stop and take in the joy of Christina and X’s love. I couldn’t stop smiling and laughing with surprise and happiness for those two. What a remarkable moment to capture on the fly and to celebrate with this community. What a great way to start my day. Thank you, Christina and X. Congratulations! I’m so happy for you both! ❤️❤️❤️
